Bluebonnet Season In Texas
When and where in Texas do we go to see the bluebonnets bloom?
We are looking forward to spring.

I don't go specifically to see Bluebonnets, but have seen them many times in the Hill Country around Fredericksburg while out cycling in the area. We normally go around mid-March (Spring break) and sometimes get lucky and see them at their peak. I've been told best time varies somewhat with weather.

Don't know much about bluebonnets but enjoy seeing them when I get the chance. Large fields can be quite beautiful.

Early to late spring depending on moisture & warming weather. I agree with the hill country as it's beautiful any time of the year. As for blurlebonnets just watch the edge of the road, the ditch is usually full of them. Seems they are more prevalent from the hill country to north Texas, DFW area, eastward, too cold in the panhandle, too hot/dry in west Texas.

Ennis, just south of Dallas has beautiful bluebonnets & some fun events.
