2018 Thor ACE 30.3
 

New to us and recently purchased, does anyone know if there is a subwoofer as part of the main sound system? We did not think to ask the dealer that sold it to us and have not been able to find if there is and if so where it is located.

When we bought our 2015 Challenger Thor (not the dealer, but Thor) told us they no longer installed subwoofers in the Challenger 37ND. About 6 months later one of the cats got stuck under the couch and I had to rip the fabric covering the couch springs. Low and behold under the couch was a subwoofer that had never been connected to the sound bar.

Come to think of it (a couple of years later), maybe it's time I go out to the coach and hook that thing into the sound system. I'll put it on the list of things to do.

Then a hunting we must go......... hard to find info on this and thank you for taking the time to answer.

We have a 2018 ACE 27. 2 and it does not have a sub woofer. Not sure on your 30.3 however I suspect it doesn’t have one either as the ACE series is Thor’s entry level class A, has a few less bells and whistles. A sub woofer would be one of those missing bells & whistles.

Makes sense, not sure then if they at least pre wired it for one.
