2018 Axis 24.1

Still love our 2018 for reasons mentioned and integrated steps, big basement storage, and 3 TVs.

Axis FL

Axis spotted on 23rd St headed west around noon today in Panama City, FL. Looked like a 24.1. Someone headed to the beach?

24.1 Happy

Spotted our own 2018 Axis 24.1 in a Florida Panhandle setting this beautiful weekend; all working. Fluctuation with hot/cold water; minor. We don’t winterize, do leave in “use” mode, and start up...

24.1?

While I like to shop, conclusion for us is that we will keep our 2018 24.1: outside TV, great access to storage beneath, lots of windows including rear… Just wondering about the size of this...

After 3 years we sold a beautiful class C; always thought that Class A units were huge and expensive — until I drove the 2018 Axis 24.1 and experienced the greater visibility while driving. For me,...

Several here have and enjoy the 24.1...curious what you think you’d like — and not like — about it and what else you’re considering.

Inflatable skirting

Just spotted this ad under the “you may also like“ tab... something else to add to your arsenal of items for winter. These in combination with heat strips or other exterior heat source under the RV...

RV sink

With the larger shower pan mentioned by Duck and a flip sink (seeing RV, marine, and vintage Pullman styles on line), a DIY? Not much storage space in that sink cabinet anyway. Heat duct may be...

Outdoor chairs

Our most recent purchase… Nice design with a little space between, storage pockets, and cupholders. Walmart in store under $50. Not lightweight; easily fits into the rear storage bay of our 24.1, and...

24.1 Girard water heater

While considering replacing the original showerhead in our 2018 Axis 24.1, which I’m reading may not help, I am revisiting remedies for the inconsistent water temperature of the Girard water heater....

Smile 24.1 slide

Besides having a little fun editing the floor plan and still stay within the 25.5 ft space, one goal is to have a rectangular and larger shower. Also, we have had a plan where the sink is outside the...

24.1 pantry

We don’t need to hang much… The closet next to the 24.1 refrigerator would make a huge pantry even if you designate 6 inches for hanging clothes. Overhead cabinets in the bedrooms provide enough...

24.1 tweaks

As we’ve taken a turn from quality to floorplans seeking to tweak our near-perfect 24.1… enlarge the slide as in the 25.5. Put the pantry rather than the refrigerator into the slide. Put the bathroom...

24.1

We’ve had our 2018 Axis since new. Had batteries and converter replaced and a few other items serviced plus a wash at a nearby CW — are always pleased with results. No significant “quality” items...

The Blackstone is very popular and could be considered later. The XL I should be able to use inside. Going to be camping in the North FL “cold” this long weekend so may not want to cook outside!

Electric “grill”

We bought the O Grill and happily used it a few times...until I discovered all the “drippings” that stay beneath the grate. Never been the family griller so didn’t piece together that we’re storing...

To Axis or not?

We love our 2018 Axis 24.1. Always looking for smaller, I enjoy the online search. Several B+ units have looked interesting, though some have the Murphy bed and most would still be missing some...
