One other thing - you'll need continuous 12v power to the RVI3 while towing. The JL front lighter plug is only powered when ignition is on. You can run an extension to the back lighter...

I don't use the adapter bracket with my 2019 JLUR - have found the seat hump to be sufficient. I do remove my all-weather floormat and put the RVI3 unit on the carpet.
