How full do you need to fill the batteries with distilled water? The sales person said to fill them to the top, but my husband says to just fill them to the top of the platelets.

I will try the different temperature, but I don't run any cold water and it still goes cold just washing dishes.

Have a Vegas 24.1 with a tankless hot water heater. First camping trip the water would get hot for a couple of minutes and then get cold. Took it in for warrenty and they said it was not firing right...
