We tend to dump the tank prior to taking a shower and leave it open while showering. Later we close it. You need some grey water to properly clean the dump hose after running black water through it.

The chassis battery is isolated from all coach functions. It will not charge on shore power. It will not power any coach devices. It can only be charged by the alternator, or an external battery...

RV mattresses are made for occasional use. Most RVs are intended for vacationers, so a good bed is not a priority. If you use yours for more than a few weeks, or are a full timer, they are very poor....
