My residential fridge has a shutoff valve for the icemaker. In my case it's behind a drawer under the fridge. That's also where my low point drains are (and the inverter of all things)!

Me too. Easy solution when plugged in. I've also thought about using the inverter to power the chassis maintainer when I add solar to maintain the coach batteries while boondocking.

It's a shared 15 amp that I use just to keep batteries happy and run the fridge. Running to the basement or under the bed in the RV sounds like a PIA. A power strip sounds much easier.
