I guess If I installed the Sumos and I find they are little TOO firm for my tastes I could either shave off 1/4 inch from the bottom of them (to allow the axle to move up more before contact) perhaps...

I might try shocks first. I like the way mine rides overall but it it was a tad firmer that would be fine too.

I dont think so. Yours is an AIR RIDE Freightliner chassis. We are hoping to make our Ford Chassis handle half as good as yours. Plus you could not dump your air bags and make your chassis drop...
