Which costs more? Fill with 87 octane or two cans of SeaFoam and 85 octane gasoline?

We have a 2016 Ace 29.3 and I have always put the lowest (cheapest) gas in it. Twice, we experienced "surging" but in both cases it went away ....after 50-100 miles. Ford put it on their computer...
