What brand are they putting in, I have had a Girard 2 and now have a Truma and there is a learning curve on both. Girard 2 does have a flow adjuster that can help especially when the water is colder...

I am sure you will be pleased with it, I know they use to require the installation to be done by them but not sure now. Their techs installed mine at the rally and even told us to fill the warranty...

There is a adjusting valve on the rear of the unit, usually a small white round knob. Hope you have access to the rear of the heater, on ours I would have to remove a storage wall to get to it.
