I don't go specifically to see Bluebonnets, but have seen them many times in the Hill Country around Fredericksburg while out cycling in the area. We normally go around mid-March (Spring break) and sometimes get lucky and see them at their peak. I've been told best time varies somewhat with weather.

Don't know much about bluebonnets but enjoy seeing them when I get the chance. Large fields can be quite beautiful.
