Note too that many of us have elected not to use a cover. I believe that even with careful installation they “flap” in the wind and can do substantial damage to paint and fiberglass. Also they quickly wear through on sharp points allowing water to get through. It then becomes trapped in their promoting mildew and other mischief. Lastly they can be a real pain to get on and off - even if it’s not on a windy day. I wish I could keep mine in a closed garage but I’m going with uncovered in a secure storage yard. But I try to keep it protected with an RV specific UV protection product. Good luck.
