The trip from FL to AZ went like a breeze. Started back for FL on the 3rd of Jan. Stopped by Riverview, BLM CG, near Safford AZ again for a few days. Cheapest propane was at a farm tractor place, John Deere etc in Thatcher, Safford.
Moved on to Datil Well, 7500 feet, to beat the weather. Got all set up before the snow started. Coldest nights so far were 12 and 14 degrees. Everything preformed well, even the ginney started. That said the blue ox patriot died. Internal battery I think.
Moved of to Valley of the Fires with 17 degree mornings and high winds. The New Garmin Nuvi 2589 LMT purchased for this trip died.
If you make it to Valley of the Fires take the time to stop by Bosque Del Apache US Fish and Wildlife refuge. That's at Socorro NM near I-25. Good green chille burgers at either the Buckhorn or Owl bar and grills.

Looks like we will have to ride out the weather at Bottomless Lakes SP near Roswell NM.
