I picked a 2014 Hundai Elantra manual xmsn. They weigh under 3000 lbs and require no mods to tow. As a bonus, since it is push button start, the steering wheel doesn't lock so the ignition need not be on. I did run a hot accessory plug to power the brake (handy for phone charging at other times, too). I also added a battery maintainer that trickle charges the toad battery when connected to RV. Happy with it....but not the off-loading solution. Doesn't record towed milage on odometer.
