Absolutely. 16ounces of propane, the right air mixture and a spark makes a large bang. There were pictures on the net several years ago of the consequences of the release valve in a 16 ounce bottle failing shut, heating up and the subsequent explosion destroying a picnic table. The right propane/air mixture will give you a much bigger bang.
