I got to thinking about this after someone asked about carrying a spare slide motor on board in a different thread.
What are some of the spare parts you carry on board your coach?
A few that I have on hand are:
- slide motor - don't want to get caught at a campground with the full-wall slide stuck out. Who knows how many people it would take to push that thing in
- windshield wipers - the local auto parts store in random town USA probably does not carry 32" wipers
- serpentine belt - recommended by a mechanic. even the local Ford dealer doesn't always have a belt for the V10 engine
Those are the only specific spare parts I have right now. Of course I also have extra fluids (oil, coolant, etc) and lots of other general repair stuff (screws, bolts, nuts, duct tape, zip ties of every size, etc.).
