I've seen a diverter to recirculate the cold water in the hot line, sold at CW and online but it has to piped back to the fresh tank. It's called AquaView Shower Mi$er, RV – Aqua View, Inc.. The idea is to run that water back until it gets hot. There are several discussion for diy diverter valves too, https://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/f...pa/pging/1.cfm

Depending on your units configuration, it seems quite doable.
