I had the same issue on my Challenger 37TB. I checked underneath and tried to use visegrips to grab the exposed end, but that did not work. Wound up making a couple cuts in the borders of the simulated wood slats and exposed the screw head. Removed it and as it threads in to a steel square tube, got some locktite Blue and tightened it back up. The wood floor under the head of the screw was all mashed down and was probably why it backed out. (Over tightening as mentioned earlier.) I filled the gap left above the screw with epoxy and glued the floor back down. Unfortunately, when the screw backs out and raises the vinyl it stretches it and it would not lay flat. Dealer cut in a new piece and it looks great now. So far that is all the dealer has fixed as I was able to get it down same day I took it in. Also got a couple of other minor things fixed while it was there. :
