New battery on a 2015 MH?
The chassis battery sure did not last too long. Are you keeping it float charged during storage? I normally get 4-6 years out of a battery but accidental full discharge can really shorten it's life. Let us other Vegas owners how hard the procedure was cutting through the dashboard to get the old battery out. Let us also know if the noise is any worse after replacing the cut away board and what method you used to reinstall the plywood cover. Make sure shore power is not used during the battery replacement or the house batteries may energize the chassis battery terminals.
