I just got back from a 6000 km trip pulling a 2009 Jeep Liberty I picked up just for flat towing. The process to pull it is very quick, doesn't have speed restrictions, no fuses to pull etc. I have a quick disconnect on the battery which is very inexpensive and easy to install. Good luck on finding the right vehicle for you.
