Just got my MotorHome magazine and they review a small Class C Winnebago View that got 18.17 MPG; and it’s larger than most Mercedes or Transit B+.

Thinking it was unfair to compare gas versus diesel fuel economy, I researched some owners of gasoline Transit B+, and they report up to 12.8 MPG while towing a Smart car. With Diesel engines many report 15~17 MPG.

Like you I also like small, but it’s not space but rather floorplans I find more compromised. American manufacturers are going with Euro-styling (like cabinets, windows, etc.) but are sticking with old floorplan layouts.
