I removed the jackknife sofa in my ACE 30.1 last week to replace it with RecPro recliners. It as simple as removing the 4 lag screws that hold the sofa frame down to the slide. I then took the end pieces off of the sofa (5 screws on each end) to make it easier to get out of the coach. I’m not sure you can get it out without removing the end pieces.
