Hi Joe, Nice to have another Gemini/Compass owner on the forum!
I'll be interested in the idea of a higher BTU AC unit vs the 2 AC unit solution.
I have done many of the things mentioned: added baffles to the end of the vent runs; tried to move wiring from blocking the air intake cavity; added window reflectors; started AC in the morning ...and still underwhelmed by its performance.

The good news, as I understand it from speaking to a Thor rep, the warranty on the AC unit is 2 yrs so I'm hopeful that if I do have a defective AC unit I can get it replaced;-)
