early on one of our first few trips out we ended up with a leak. Turns out that the strainer cap had been over tightened and cracked. It was either the factory or the dealer that would have done it. It was sucking in air whenever the pump would run.

While I was in there fixing that I found that the winterizing port plug was loose like yours.
