We stayed there for one night last year. Our site was kind of small and not very level. The staff was great. It has a small playground and dog park, but not much else. The pool was closed when we were there.
We really like the VA state parks. Spacious sites, quiet, clean and well-maintained bath houses, great hiking, mountain biking, fishing, etc.
