Rusty Oil Fill Tube

I have a new to me 2014 for about 6 months in Florida. Apparently I have not run it for long enough periods to clear the condensation. We have been on the road since April. Anyone tackled the Oil fill tube. Ford has it at $80 for the part. It looks like a short metal tube and then a firm hose to the engine. If it’s Truely separate thinking I can remove the metal piece and clean it. There are 2 metal hose clamps one on each end. Any thoughts before I dive in!? Thanks.
