Mine goes in that driver's side front compartment. I always connect it back onto itself. I carry extras tucked into the Vegas 25.2 back compartment. Have never had an issue with mold in Florida or in our travels. Always run the water out before storing.

Here's a trick I learned from a campground in Texas: I carry a small spray bottle with a chlorine mix in the same compartment with the water hose, and spray the hydrant and both ends of the hose before connecting.

Only the sewer hoses in that dump compartment.
