In my inexperienced RV mind, regularly turning the elbow will wear out the seal. That could be disastrous if one is dumping black water often.
Myrtle Beach was our first trip in our Axis last fall. We had the unit for less than a full day and took off. In retrospect, knowing what I know about new units from this list, that was not a good decision. But, it worked out very well.
Have some oysters for us.
