Not only does it have a very short wheelbase, along with a huge and heavy rear overhang, but it’s a box 12 feet tall. I feel I’m a pretty good driver, but I doubt I could keep that thing going straight on a windy day. From my perspective the design seems misguided (had a few other words but hate to sound that negative).
Ah but doesn't that just follow the normal Class C ratio (I see many class C's where the wheelbase to overall length ratio is just over 50% where Axis/Vegas (and most class A's) the ratio is much higher--like 61% for our 24.1). For another discussion I had made this spreadsheet comparing wb to length for Forrester Class C's vs Axis/Vegas units:rvwbtolength.pdf --even looking at those, however, the Axon appears to be even worse...
