When we had our Chateau on the E450 chassis I looked up the Dana axle # and it was rated for 11,000 lbs. So the tires are definitely a weak point that it is rated at 9,600. I had also added helper bump stops that were rated at 1,000 lbs a piece. I don't think anyone is condoning running way over capacity it's just that the tires are at full capacity all the time.
