Normally when I de-winterize After flushing out the antifreeze the first thing I do is sanitize the tanks and lines with a chlorine solution per the owners manual. After doing this and sanitizing my fresh water hose as well I have never had a stinky water situation unless it was the result of the local water supply at a campground.
