This looks to be the way to go.

The only question I have is, does the blue wire indicate that the brakes are being applied on the coach or on the couch and toad.

It is my understanding that the brakes on the toad are only applied when the force on the coach pedal is applied fairly hard in order to energize the toad brake system. This SMI system is designed to apply pressure on the toad brakes only when needed to prevent excessive wear on toad pads.

Hence my question, does the blue wire indicate only when the toad brake is energized?
