Had to repair city water inlet

I am a Newbie from Colorado Springs. Last week, while on the second trip in my coach, the city water inlet came loose.

It was hanging by only two screws.

After removing all the screws I realized that the third screw was never properly screwed into the plywood that is underneath the fiberglass!

Rather than reposition the inlet, they simply added some silicone to make it stick. Last week, while hooking up, it finally gave way.

However, it was a simple fix. I unscrewed everything, drilled new holes, added some clear caulk, and now everthing is better than it was from the factory.

I also bought an elbow to use with the city water inlet. Better safe than sorry!
