We don't have a toad and probably won't for quite some time; if ever. Just don't like the idea of the extra weight and added length that would require more of an eye.
We've used Enterprise several times over the past year at various locations (as we will toward the end of this week on a trip to Gulf Shores SP for several days) with good success. We will usually find their office somewhere close to where we are planning to stay and drop by for pick up but had them pick us up once when at Myrtle Beach.
If we only plan a 2 or 3 day trip, we don't usually rent.
This just seems to work for us. It seems, though; that probably 75% of the those we meet have a toad.
