Dropped Off For Warranty Work
We dropped "Chewie" off at Camping World for some warranty work. We purchased on June 26th and had our first trip a couple of weeks ago. No major systems or appliances are broken, mostly fit and finish items.
When I called earlier in the week, and again today, they told me it would be 2-3 weeks before they pulled it into a bay. I told him that our next trip is in October and looking at the list he was not concerned about it being done in time for the trip. He said that they give priority to people with problems on the road and that slows things down some. I'm okay with that, might be me one day. They wanted me to leave it so it would be immediately available when they are able to get to it.
There have been many complaints about CW service on the forum. The one time I took it in to have a black tank flush installed, a few days before our trip, it was a great experience. We will see how this goes with the work. I will update as things progress so everyone will know how my experience is going.
