Thanks jp, I downloaded the owners manual for the 2008 Jeep Patriot Sport and (under towing the vehicle) they say that it can be towed 4 down if it has a manual transaxle. I’m assuming that the manual transmission and manual transaxle are one and the same. There is an “On Demand” 4WD switch down between the front seats that I presume must not be activated when towing so that the rear wheels remain without power and not in the 4WD mode. Am I thinking about this correctly? Ray
