I'm saying of equal square feet living area so total RV size and weight are similar. Otherwise most of us would say bigger is better -- whether longer and/or wider.
In my opinion, and we know what they say about opinions, if the width is in the main living area (living and dining room) then short and wide. If not then I would say long and narrow with a shorter bedroom.
