I didn't even notice that. Yup our wipers move in the same direction.

Many newer cars, however, work against each other. In addition: Each wiper is on its own motor and are controlled by a computer (I noticed this once on one of our cars where, after changing the blades out, when we started it the wipers swapped their position each one moving independently of the other).
