We spent yesterday at our favorite RV place, Lakeside RV park in Pahrump NV. It's only 70 miles from Vegas but it is so nice and quiet with large shade trees and a private stocked lake for fishing. Two weeks ago the two mile road to the resort was all gravel and under construction but yesterday it was nice and paved all of the way to the turn off for the resort where it was gravel again so the traffic had to turn into the gas station next to the Casino in order to reach the sign in office.There was a 5th wheel ahead of us so we figured we figured we'd just follow him in and stop for fuel. Well he pulled straight ahead but got too close to the the rear of a construction worker's parked truck that had a large vice welded on the opened tailgate which the poor fellow got hooked under the lip of his left fender! At first it just pulled the fender out a little but then the more the gut tried to get unhooked the worst it got. Next the side of the RV tore open a little. Then the guy got out and said a few choice words, got back in his rig and briskly pulled away tearing the entire back half of his 5th wheel off and dragging it with him!
It was worth me being out-fished by the wife just getting to watch the show.
