You might check your RV insurance, they might cover rodent damage.
When I store the RV, I use a product from Soma Therapy Inc called Mouse-Away. You can buy it direct from their website, or from Amazon.
Mouse-Away is a combination of Peppermint Oil and Spearmint Oil, and oh does it stink. Apparently mice don't like the smell so they stay away. It's far better than using mouse traps as you don't have a mess to clean up, and only the dumb mice get caught.
I have not had any issues in the two years I stored the RV with mouse damage. Basically you use a glass cup (don't use plastic as it will melt), put a mothball into the cup, then saturate the mothball with the oil. It lasts a couple of months.
I use it in the inside as well, and when I go into the RV in the winter time - the whole place stinks of Pepperment/Spearmint. But a week or two after I remove the oil and let the rig air out, the smell is gone.
