Having that bra protection will help, but the age old problem with them is they get dirt and sand under them and then they are like sandpaper on the paint you are trying to protect.

Relying on the bra alone leaves the windshield unprotected. On my last toad, I used a bra as well as the Protect-A-Tow. Because of the sandpaper problem, I tried the spray on bra, too. On my current toad, I am just relying on the Protect-A-Tow and the stock mud flaps on my Vegas.

If you do use the bra, you might use the spray on stuff at the contact points on the hood.
