I have used that method for the last 10 years and it also works well. I just uses more antifreeze than the other method. Buy an RV antifreeze pump and a hose attachment , it will take about 3 gallons and then start the pump and go to each tap (hot and cold) and run until it shows pink. I also use a bicycle pump
to clear all of the lines of any water. It usually takes about an hour to do this
