As long as you buy your fuel "in season" you shouldn't have any problem. Run your tank low and fill it just before you put it away for the winter. Buy your fuel from a place that does a lot of business so their fuel is fresh and in season. Producers change the mix as winter approaches with anti-gel components.
Modern diesels are not like the older ones.
