I have found blowing out lines to be “iffy” unless you have a high volume of air as well as pressure. AND if you let the air run for quite a while. Apparently some water can hang up somewhere and it later settles in low points and freezes. FWIW. I carry a couple of gallons of the pink stuff and can winterize in under 10 minutes for less than $10. Works for me.
