Same here on th hook ups.
Don't have to deal with the slide out in the way getting to those compartments.
For what it's worth, on another thread, someone explained how the system operates, and they explained how they do it in manual mode.
I tried it that way, and kind of like it better, so I am doing ours in manual from now on.
