I just change oil filter at 5000 miles. When my current motorhome is due a oil change, I will go to Amsoil. Great product!

I had a Chevrolet Volt which only rarely used its engine. The owners manual and the on board oil monitoring require changing oil every two years. That said I change annually regardless or about 5000 miles. I believe that all oil in use has water and contaminants that differentiates it from oil in its original sealed container. It’s cheap enough “insurance”. I use Mobil 1 and it costs about $45 with a premium filter.
