The Ford E-Series has frame humps over rear axle and has wheelbase modified all the time. It’s the most common motorhome chassis in US and only the shortest Class Cs keep original Ford wheelbase. The majority have frame cut and stretched somewhere behind cab. Axis and Vegas Class As also get their original 158” wheelbase stretched to 188” or 194”.

I don’t personally like it, but it’s done all the time.
