We decided to make the 300 mile run from Sacramento to Bakersfield in one day today. Got a later than wanted 9:30 am start due to a loose battery cable for the house batteries. CA99 was a pretty good highway to take. It had a few rough patches, but they didn't last more than a couple miles. However, the concrete sections made the coach creak & squeak like pulling an old nail out of a 2x4! I am wondering if it is the styro foam insulation in the walls rubbing. It about drove me NUTZ! I have to give Kudos to my DW! She is doing a great job navigating on one phone & finding "Passport America" RV parks on the other! That gets us 50% off a nights stay! Sitting now with the door open enjoying the 68° weather.
I hope everyone is staying safe & warm out there!
