Spent lots of years living in Alaska. It wasn't that bad. In comparison, I would not consider Duluth MN or upstate NY as places to live, let alone Bismarck. Far too cold and too much snow. All this hype reminds me of the school district rules in Fairbanks, "Elementary students may not go outside to recess when temperatures are below -20*".
While the current weather situation is not to be taken lightly, I can't help but laugh out loud listening to the hysterical tv news guys.
It ain't that bad! If it is, go inside.
