I have the Napoleon Q285. Two burners and 12K BTU. I don't use the RV propane port. I carry a 20# bottle for 2 reasons. One, I can move the grill around and use it in different places like lakeside, etc. Two, I installed an "Extend-A-Stay" on the stationary propane tank and can use the 20# bottle as back up if LP gets low/runs out and can't find an immediate source for refilling. Backups are good things on the road. The two separate burner also allows you to smoke small quantities of meat using the "cross cook" method.
